Introduction & Asset Management
This Training Course Module introduces its user to CERN’s Asset and Maintenance Management Tools. Common Asset Management Operations are demonstrated and practiced. This course will cover the following topics:
- Asset management concepts in the CERN context;
- Lifecycle of assets;
- Asset management tools and interfaces;
- Asset and functional position registration;
- Equipment structures;
- Enhancing asset information by the means of classification, documents, links to items, coordinates, logistics information, criticality;
- Equipment generation;
- Barcode printing;
- Viewing the events, history, asset audit;
- Meters, warranties.
